D20 Artists
For Palestine

A collective of artists in the Dimension 20 community who are offering fundraising commissions for Doctors Without Borders, a charity providing medical aid to Palestine.

How does this work?

1. Check out our live spreadsheet for the artists involved, the art they're offering, and the slots they have available. (This spreadsheet is public and there may be multiple people using it at once, so please be patient in viewing, or make a copy of the spreadsheet instead! Slots will be claimed on a 'first come, first serve' basis.)

2. After you've chosen a specific artist and made sure they have slots available, donate their required amount to the Doctors Without Borders Humanitarian Aid for Gaza Campaign, screenshot the receipt (making sure that the recipient, date, and time are visible), and then fill out the below art request form. Please make sure donations in other currencies are made with the amount equivalent to $USD! You can find a currency calculator here.

3. Once your screenshot has been verified, your information will be forwarded onto your chosen artist, who will in turn contact you directly via email to sort out any further details! Please be aware that it is up to individual artists to decide their offered styles and prices; the same amount of money will purchase different levels of completion from different artists. Artists have the right to deny your request if they are uncomfortable with the subject matter; we will pass on your request to another artist if this happens. If you've submitted the form but no one has contacted you within a week, or if you have any other issues with the form/request please contact us via [email protected]!Thank you for the support!

FAQ

What does PWYW mean?
PWYW stands for Pay What You Want; in other words, rather than choosing a specific type of commission style, you donate what you can, and the artist will create a commission that reflects the amount you donated. Artists will have a PWYW minimum listed in the spreadsheet.
Can I commission non-D20 work?
Yes! 'Dimension 20 Artists' just refers to this particular community of fanartists. Each artist has their own preferences and rules; you can see this in our live spreadsheet.
Can I commission twice/more than one person?
Yes! Just fill out the form as many times as you want to commission! If you made one big donation that you want to split across artists, just specify as such in the questions/comments section.
I submitted the form but no one has contacted me?
Please give your artist a week's leeway in contacting you! If you still have not been contacted after a week, please resubmit the form and email us at [email protected]!
I'm a fellow D20 artist and I want to volunteer my commissions!
You can email us with your name and website at [email protected], and we'll get in contact if things free up! Please keep in mind that adding new artists isn't guaranteed and will take some time; us organisers work/study full-time and only have the capacity to manage so many people. If you'd like to organise your own charity commissions outside of us, we'd love to share it round!
Who's behind this?
You can see all the artists involved in our live spreadsheet! Sam (@kindlestuck) is head-organising this alongside August (@cloudmancy) and Eames (@msmegalodon). We're the same organisers behind the D20 Zine Jam, The Calorum Cookbook, D20 Exchange, etc. so we have experience with charity event organising! We all work/study full-time, however, so please allow us some patience when communicating with us. Thank you for all the support!
